Community Service Day (CSD)

Whether you’re interested in residential, new construction, condominiums, commercial real estate, premier properties, relocation or investment properties, we hope you’ll visit our office or stop by windermere.com or one of our three Lane County locations. Wherever you find us, our priority is to assist you with your specific real estate goals.

At Windermere, we believe in the importance of serving the community we share. Enriching the neighborhoods in which we live and work is an integral part of our philosophy.

Every time a Windermere broker sells a home, a portion of the commission goes to the Windermere Foundation, a non-profit organization. Contributions from Windermere brokers combined with contributions from Windermere employees and the public have allowed the Windermere Foundation to distribute over two million dollars annually in recent years to non-profit agencies dedicated to helping homeless and low-income families. This year, in Lane County, we have gifted funds to Bags of Love, Shelter Care, Looking Glass and Relief Nursery.

In addition to the Windermere Foundation, we are proud of our annual Community Service Day. One day each year, the entire company, not just Lane County but 8,000 strong spend the day giving back by providing hands-on assistance to a variety of community-based projects.

Since 1984, we have spent hundreds of thousands of hours on service projects in the communities we serve. Locally, for the last ten years, we have volunteered for Food For Lane County in their Grass Roots Garden off Coburg Road. I’m excited that we will continue our efforts this year at the Grass Roots Garden on Friday, June 20th.

Food for Lane County’s mission is to eliminate hunger by creating access to food. They accomplish this by soliciting, collecting, rescuing, growing, preparing and packaging food for distribution through a network of social service agencies and programs; and through public awareness, education and community advocacy.

Once again, thank you for your business and continued partnership in making Lane County a better place to live.

Make it a great day!
